After great efforts from both KRAIBURG TPE & Abbey Polymers, the UK stock has been re-instated!
2020 'Brexit' threw a curve ball into the 25+ year long standing UK operation & both parties knew we would have to come closer together to produce a workable solution.

We would like to say thank you to our loyal customer base during that tricky time but now KRAIBURG TPE & Abbey Polymers can celebrate higher quality service levels for our UK customer base.
​
The first UK stock deliveries have been prompt & well received by UK customers. The improvement of material lead times shows KRAIBURG TPE commitment to its UK customer base & is sure to benefit customers in the long term.

Laripur TPU & Produform helping tackle COVID19 pandemic

Produmask: a safe barrier against the virus, with maximum comfort.
Produmask is a washable and reusable mask that respects the principle of environmental sustainability, suitable for adults and children is made of hypoallergenic material, with thermoplastic polyurethane body (TPU LARIPUR). It is equipped with an interchangeable filter element that ensures approximately 15 hours of effective use, a period longer than that of traditional surgical masks. Produmask meets all the requirements of UNI EN 14683 and ISO 10993 standards, is certified as a 'safe' surgical mask, and also observes the prescriptions that determine the biocompatibility of medical devices.
The filter system, identical in all models, is composed of two layers of water-repellent non-woven fabric with excellent breathability values (20 out of 40 pascal / cm2) and an excellent level of bacterial filtration (99.7% on a minimum of 98%): therefore blocks microbes without obstructing the passage of air.
The filter cannot be tampered with by the user and never comes into contact with the hands of those who perform the replacement, because it is inserted in a rigid plastic cage: the particular design of the mask also limits contact with the skin, increasing comfort who wears it.
At the end of use Produmask is stored in the special packaging that prevents any type of contamination. The availability of filters and all spare parts is ensured by Produform for a minimum period of two years, deliveries are made within 24/48 hours from the order.

Thermolast M receives guideline 2017 approval!

KRAIBURG TPE announce Thermolast M compounds have achieved compliance with the association of German engineers VDI guideline 2017 for medical grade plastics. The guidelines came into effect in July 2019.

All Thermolast M compounds are free from heavy metals, latex, PVC & phthalates. The materiel is manufactured on dedicated medical lines, to the highest degree of purity. Quality assurance includes full traceability of raw materials & product batch, REACH & RoHS. Thermolast M is listed in the FDA drug master files in alignment with VDI 2017, this ensures the manufacturing process is included in the project management system.
